Fishing in Oskarshamn

Oskarshamn Municipality offers a variety of fishing for both the beginner and the experienced fisherman who is looking for a challenge. You can sit and angle from the top of a rock in Misterhult Archipelago one day and tussle with the world's largest sea trout in the legendary river Emån the next day. Excellent sea trout, pike and perch fishing along the coast. There is also great lake fishing for pike, perch and rainbow trout in Oskarshamn and the surrounding areas.

Hummeln

A lake with excellent water quality where you can catch pike, perch, eel, burbot and different types of white fish. Hummeln was classified as a national fishing and recreation area in 2003. Fishing license is required and can be purchased in Kristdala, where you can also rent a boat.

Hälle Lakes (Hällesjöarna)

A real fishing paradise where rainbow salmon can be caught! You can dock in the lake Lilla Hällesjön. Spinning, fly fishing and angling from land are permitted in the lake Stora Hällesjön. Boats rentals and grilling area available. Fishing licence is required.
