The group of red houses is located in a light open setting with small winding gravel roads and kilometers of stone fences. The enclosed pastures have sheep, cows and pigs. Three walking paths wind through the beautiful surroundings.

Äspöstigen
Äspöstigen is an exciting footpath that will take you from the prehistoric times of earth through to the archipelago landscape of today. The footpath is approximately two kilometres in length and easily accessible. It displays how different kinds of rock have been formed, how the movement of the continents have caused fissures in the rock and how the ice age has reformed the bedrock to smooth rocks well suited for sunbathing and leisure. A walk along Äspöstigen is like taking an exciting trip in a geological time machine. You can visit Äspöstigen whenever you like.
