Narrow-gauge railroad - Västervik-Hultsfred

This narrow-gauge railroad dates back to 1879 and is located in northeastern Småland. It extends from the dense forests in the highlands to the exciting archipelago landscape along the East Coast. There is much to experience in addition to the train ride. Get off at one of the 17 stops and become better acquainted with the area's bathing lakes, fishing waters, restaurants and cultural attractions.

The train runs daily during July and August between Hultsfred-Verkebäck. The railroad was declared an historical landmark in 1996 and was nominated as one of the country's most important industrial landmarks in 1999.
